I'm sad to have missed the tape release on this one, one of the strongest Dungeon Synth debuts from this waning year. The dense keyboards weave through minimal base lines that ebb and flow effortlessly. Hope there is more (and a repress) from this most hallowed of Dark Ritual(s) in the future. merusmetraton

J'ai eu la tentation de classer ce premier album éponyme de Starlight Salvation en tant que black metal croisé avec du punk de garage ; mais puisque le contexte médiéval est le fond de commerce de Lila Starless, on pourra parler de "punk d'écurie" pour éviter l'anachronisme. Car si les titres mentionnent presque tous les cieux et les étoiles, les guitares sont épaisses et mettent les pieds dans la boue, la batterie cogne sans pitié et Lila Starless hurle une rage sans fin.
